Here's a page for a friend that was inspired by the following challenges:
Ed's Weekend Challenge at Laines - 6x12: To create a 6x12 layout.
Magistical Memories November / December Mask Challenge: To make a project that shows off your masking creativity. To include at least 1 chipboard on the layout.
Groovie Covers for November: To use cover as inspiration.

I was inspired by the circles so I did some masking and embossing to create the circles..

I used the technique Sharon from Laines showed recently using embossing powder.. added some maya mist over it. The lines were drawn to mimic that in the cover.

The gold embossing powder was stamped with text while it was still melted.

Added the cardboard frame behind the layout to make it stand. =)

I'm so happy I won the Groovie Covers Challenge with this layout! =)

Ad This Challenge - Oct 26: To use ad as inspiration. I was inspired to use mainly one colour and nature theme for my layout.

Groovie Challenge by Janis: The challenge is to create a monochromatic layout. Why not scrap the color that best describes you?

I was inspired by the many book covers on the Groovie cover. So i did a multi-photo layout with lots of different shapes on it.. The shapes had a nature theme to it, inspired by the Ad This Oct 26 ad...

This layout is about a green themed crop i went to. So I used green photos, green PP and green embellishments on it!

Green stickles were used to doodle on the embellishments to highlight them..

Also did some embellishing at the bottom of the layout with ribbons and dewdrops to frame the sticker.. I always love how dewdrops manify patterns, in this case, the pattern on my ribbon! :)

Yay! I've won the Ad This challenge! Can't wait to receive the next ad..=)

I also combined it with the Groovie Covers Challenge for September... The challenge is to use this cover as inspiration to create a layout.

My 2 favourite American Crafts product has got to be the Flair adhesive badges and PPs! So i used these 2 on my layout...

Using the Blue Skies range of adhesive badges.. I'm so happy to get my hands on them.. they are so cute! :P

Wrote words on the badge to form part of my title... I love how versatile they are.

Also added some doodling and journaling following the swirl...

Here's the American Crafts Remarks Sticker Sheets Week Challenge .

I combined this challenge with the Groovie Covers August Challenge. Here's the cover that inspired me. I decided to create a 'diary' showcasing all my cute embellishments.. Most of them are new.. i've also added some older ones.. This is to remind me of all the cute embellies i have, and to make sure i use them! :P
I have a soft spot for cute embellishments. they are just too hard to resist! So i must often remind myself to use them. Creating this page will definitely help to remind me! =P
Did some stamping with some of my cute stamps too.. Layered some cupcakes too!

Here's the June Cover for Groovie Covers Challenge.

I combined it with American Crafts "Remarks Sticker Books Week Challenge".

I wanted to create a bright and colourful page with mainly stickers... And layered all the embellishments above the photo to go with the hiding in the photo.. hehe!

I kept to a clean layout... Just like in the cover.

Here's the May Groovie Cover... So cool! I knew i just had to give it a shot...

Here's my take on the challenge... Not too satisfied with it cos i think it's overcrowded! :P
I was inspired by the rays of words in the ad so i try to recreate it in my layout...

Various materials like stickers and buttons were used...

I wanted the photos to stand out... So i outlined the photos with glossy accent and stickles...

Fun!

I compiled this kit from my own stash for application of Creative Scrappers Layout Kit Designer... The list of items that are to be in the kit include 6 PPs, 1 CS, 1 alpha, flowers, chipboard and buttons... With this kit, i was to create 2 layouts, but i managed to do 3! :)

For the 1st layout, I submitted it for the April's Groovie Covers Challenge. Here's the ad...

Here's the ad for the Ad This March 16 challenge. The Technique twist for the layout is Fonts... In your layout you will make a list and each item on your list is to be a different font. You can use different alpha stickers, thickers, stamps etc.
