Here's a layout I did inspired by the following Challenges:
Ed's Weekend Challenge at Laines: To use multiple photos on your layout. It has to be 4 or more photographs.

November Groovie Online Crop by Michelle: The LO must have at least 2 photos, 3 patterned papers and 4 buttons.

Ad This Challenge - Nov 9th: To use ad as inspiration.


I started out by adding colourful tapes on the background PP. This becomes a matt for the photos. Chipboard gears which were stickled, were added behind the photos to create movement.

In total, I used 4 photos, 4 PPs and 4 buttons. =) I punched out squares from the monster PPs and popped some of them up.

I doodled on the thickers to add an element of fun to the layout. And here are the steps to distress your ezlink card! :P


Compare adib's ezlink card with mine. And to think my card is actually older! haha!

Ad This Challenge - Oct 26: To use ad as inspiration. I was inspired to use mainly one colour and nature theme for my layout.

Groovie Challenge by Janis: The challenge is to create a monochromatic layout. Why not scrap the color that best describes you?

I was inspired by the many book covers on the Groovie cover. So i did a multi-photo layout with lots of different shapes on it.. The shapes had a nature theme to it, inspired by the Ad This Oct 26 ad...

This layout is about a green themed crop i went to. So I used green photos, green PP and green embellishments on it!

Green stickles were used to doodle on the embellishments to highlight them..

Also did some embellishing at the bottom of the layout with ribbons and dewdrops to frame the sticker.. I always love how dewdrops manify patterns, in this case, the pattern on my ribbon! :)

strawberries

Here's Ad This August 31st ad.. I'm inspired by the clean ad and composition of the ad...

I combined this with Pile It On Challenge 13: Round & Round We Go! The challenge is to use anything that's round on your layout or project.

Here's my take! I gathered as many food related stash and of stash that's related to strawberries for this layout.

Highlighted the photo using buttons...

Also layered the strawberries chipboard...

I'm not a fan of strawberries but don't they look good? :P

Added food related stickers as part of the journaling! :)

I'm so happy to know I won the Pile It On Challenge with this layout! :)

Here's Ad This August 3rd ad.. The twist for the ad is to use at least 2 photos, journaling and your favourite embellishments. I'm inspired by the layering of images...

Here's my take on the 2 challenges... I did some layering of my photos and embellishments on the layout.
And of course I'm using some of my favourite products from American Crafts! My favourite has got to be the Flair adhesive badges and Thickers! :)
I made an exclamation mark using the Flair adhesive badges...
I'm happy I'm using up my American Crafts stash! :) this gives me an excuse to get more.. hehe! :P

Here's the July 27th Ad for the Ad This Challenge. The twist is all about the title. Using a combo of fonts, stamps and embellishments to make up your title and let the title tell the story of your photos.

Here's my take.. I love how the title is the main focus on the ad. I was inspired by the fonts in the ad and how the different elements form a composition... I tried re-creating it on my layout.

Also used some Papierhouse stash i received to frame the photo...

Here's the July 20th ad for Ad This Challenge... The twist is to use things on your layout that aren't intended for scrapbooking rather you have some fun vintage finds, a piece of that favorite dress from when you were a kid etc. I was inspired by the placement of the Dr. Pepper soda bottles and the "Flavour of the Month".

I decided to include a fork and spoon on the layout to go with the photos of us enjoying the thick toast... :)

Did some embossing on the Magistical Memories Windy Road Ahead Arrow chipboard...

Tied the fork and spoon together with a ribbon and end it with a cute cut-out of cutlery.

Also did some inking and painting on the Magistical Memories Mini Film Strip chipboard which framed the photos...

Here's the July 13th ad for Ad This Challenge. The twist is all about layering your photos and using embellishment that POP on your pages. I was inspired by the layering on the photo and the vines...

Here's my take on the challenge. I also combined with the UYSC by Wati K. The challenge is to use some of your colourful ribbons on your layout. I used loads of ribbon to frame the photos and make my page POP! :)
I did some embossing on the Magistical Memories Bubble Frame Straight chipboard.
Also added some of my favourite embellies, buttons and robin's nest dewdrops! :)

Did some weaving of ribbons through the background PP...

I love how colourful and textured it turned out! :)

Here's the July 6th ad for the Ad This Challenge... The twist is all about changing the colors on your photo. To use photoshop to do it or experiment with different mediums...

Here's my take... I was inspired by the placement of the object and text in the ad...
I altered the photo using photoshop by adding the colour green to the t-shirt and editing the part of the photo of myself to black & white... I also added some labels onto the photo...

Some labels were printed on PP and used as a matt for the photo..

The rest was all about embellishing! :)

Here's the June 29th Ad for Ad This Challenge. The twist is all about products and techniques. We are to use them hand in hand to create a cool effect on your layout..

Here's my take.. I was inspired by the paint on the ad and the placement of the title...

I combined it with the Use Your Stash Challenge by June... The challenge was to use 3 types of pps and 4 types of embellishment to add up to 7.

I added some embossing powder onto the cardstock as a border and to frame the layout.

Did some tearing of PP which is attaced to the chipboard frame...

I just realised, a page with buttons! I can submit this for Pile It On Challenge 4! :)
