I've been featured!!

So happy to find out that i've been featured on The Crafter's Workshop's blog for my "It's my happy life" layout!! Yeah!

Here's what I did for the following challenges:
Groovie Challenge by Sindy: To scrap with photos of children.
Creative Prompts 4 U Challenge #16 - Frame It Up!: To use frames as inspiration.

My layout... I decided to do a page filled with masking tape!! Time to use up some of the many masking tapes i have.. =P

Did some layering of frames which i embossed and inked...

Using up some of my stickers too...! Love the combination of bright colours!

The platinum frames were embossed with UTEE and stamped on...

Here's what I did for {Create}'s May Challenge, the challenge is to have the word "Create" on your Layout.

I used my scraps from altering the Maya Road dress form chipboard on this layout... So glad to be using up my stash!

Did some major distressing of the PPs!!

Decided to do a no-photo layout, no stress on what photo to use! =)

Mama-Razzi Behind the lens...

Here's The Color Room Palette #6 - His Room.

Here's my take... I knew I had just the right embellishments to do a page with this colour scheme... Check out the Core'dinations cardstock which I sanded...

Finally got to use these BoBunny Mama-Razzi chipboards which i hoarded... Also included a letter paper which I got from Papermarket. Can you spot it?

Added the Qt pie stickers from Creative Imaginations and layered the alpha stickers over the Tattered Angels film overlay...

I had fun distressing the PPs! I tried out some Distress Inks (Scattered Straw & Rusty Hinge) and love the colours so much that I just had to get them! =P

Totally love how the colour combination turned out on the layout... =)

I decided to use up some of my American Crafts stash! Thickers, crochet flowers, ribbons, PPs and my favourite embellishment - Flair adhesive badges!!

Decided to create a spring inspired happy page with these polaroid photos taken on my birthday...

I make Lovely stuff

Here's my DT assignment for Papermarket this month. I had to alter a Maya Road chipboard album. I picked the Dress Form Chipboard Album, as I had this idea of 'making' dresses!

So I did an album without photos, but featuring all my pretty embellishments! =P

Layered PPs to make the skirt...

I misted the leather paper and used it as the background...

Created a flower 'necklace' and misted the back of the lace cs and PP.

Did some tearing on the edges of the PP...

Added pom-pom ribbon to complete the dress!

Punched out some flowers and did some layering with ribbons...

Added some bling to the flowers and chipboards with stickles!

This is one of my favourite pages with butterfly, flowers and all! I love the Pink Paislee artist elements swirl stickers which I misted to reveal the pattern...

Flowers, flowers and more flowers!! Love the misted leather paper flower!

This has got to be my absolute favourite! Love the layering of flowers. I love how the leaves behind the tree forms a nice backdrop!

For this page, I inked the chipboard and adhered the lace cs to the page...

I used the back of the lace cs which is white and adhered it to the background PP. Also did some doodling with stickles...

Added loads of sentiments on the last page to complete the project!

I've been featured!!

I went down to Laines last week and Shirley showed me a magazine featuring my album!!=) These people came by the store to pick out some albums for this magazine cover...

Although it features just part of my album, i'm happy my album got picked! =)

dreams come true...

Here's what I did for HappyScraps - Words Inspired Challenge 6. I was inspired by the words in the image and also the colours. I sanded the Core'dination cardstock with embossed text and used the cardstock as a background.

Did my journaling about the photos directly on the embossed cardstock. These photos were taken at the opening of Papermarket @ Plaza Singapura on 17/04/2010. I'm just so happy and fortunate to be able to have my works displayed at the new store. =)

Altered the Maya Road Dress Form Chipboard I got from Papermarket Raffles City with Basic Grey PP, Prima fabric which i misted, Prima flowers, American Crafts chipboards and Melody Ross textile tags!

Check out these thermo pencils and pencils with ruler markings! They are too cute to resist! :P

The layout contains some of the text in the words image. Can you spot them? Some are within the photos, while others are in the journaling...

Thanks to all who attended my Papermarket April Class! I had fun teaching, so I hope you had fun altering too! =)

Creative Prompts 4 U Challenge #12 - Change It Up!: To take an embellishment and enhance it to make a new one of a kind addition to your page.
Are You Feeling Groovie Challenge by July: To use acrylic paints in your layout.

I used acrylic paints, gesso, mists, crackle paint, ink, stickles! Love how it turned out! Added some gesso on the Prima mini flowers to highlight them...

I had loads of fun embellishing the page! I added stickles to the felt embellishments, like the leaf pattern...

Yay! So glad to find out that I've won the Groovie Challenge! Woohoo!! Here's my RAK... It's a handmade journal by July! This marks the start of creating my very own art journal pages!

Love the handmade tag July made that came with this journal.. The pages consist of cardstocks, PPs and also canvas pages!

I love the new Papermarket store at Plaza Singapura!! Love the bright colours and the open concept for the classes... If you haven't check out the store, do so soon! There's a storewide discount at Plaza Singapura, Laines and Papermarket at Raffles City!!

Love these blackboards Merdrey done up using liquid chalk markers!! I just had to go down to Daiso to check out the markers. :P
