Here's a page about my recent trip to hort park, inspired by the following challenges:
American Crafts Autumn Week Challenge

Pile It On Challenge 23: Fall - Use a leaf or leaves and combine it with at least one other challenge.
Ed's Weekend Challenge at Laines: To use multiple photos on your layout. It has to be 4 or more photographs.

I decided to do a page full of all the interesting things I saw... I sprayed glimmer mist to the cardstock and inked the edges of the PP.

I used the thickers to form 2 eyes on the cloud chipboard.. =) Doodling was done around some of the photos.

I cut-out a flower from an AC PP and adhered the Flair adhesive badge on it. Did some layering of flowers and leaves.

The edges of the cardstock were distressed and inked.

mooncakes

Here's the American Crafts Food Inspired Week Challenge.

I decided to create a page about mooncakes I just had on Saturday! There was a variety that I tried this time round. I think the most types of mooncakes i had so far! :P

Added the chipboards for journaling...

Some brads at the top right hand corner where i doodled around them, just for the element of fun on the page.

Since Halloween is coming, we at Papierhouse came up with a challenge for October to use the colours Orange, Purple and Black on your layout. Here's what I did, I used my Halloween stash to create this layout.

The Magistical Memories Caught in a Web chipboard was embossed with 2 purple embossing powders.

Stickles were added to the title and embellishments..

Added 2 cute little monsters to complete the page, hehe! :)

I decide to submit this layout for American Crafts "Halloween Week Challenge". Hope it satisfies the requirement! :)

Here's the American Crafts Mini Album Week Challenge.

I was so inspired by the mini album Belinda Venables did that I just had to make one of my own... I started with altering a Maya Road metal tin to house my layout. This altered tin is for Artz de Scrap's October Challenge.

The tin is altered using ribbon, tape, robin's nest dewdrops, buttons and an adhesive badge..

I created pages for the mini album out of PPs. Hamblys were used for the covers.




Did some simple embellishing for the inner pages.

Here's the American Crafts Elements Week Challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge.. For this 8x8 layout, I used everything American Crafts!!

I made a mini camera using paper piecing technique... AC PPs, brads and adhesive badge were used.

The camera can be rotated to reveal the photo behind it...

I did a photo transfer on clear tape so the photo appears translucent... created a border around the photo using brads and chipboards.

Here's the American Crafts Back to School Week Challenge.

I combined it with the Groovie Challenge by Aniza which is to use a photo of a special moment/person taken at least 3 year ago. Scrap about that person/moment and incorporate minimum 3 chipboards on the layout.

Another challenge I incorporated on this layout is Magistical Memories September School Contest. The challenge is to document your school experiences. It must include at least one piece of chipboard and the colors of red (for the apple) and yellow (for the school bus) must be incorporated in your project.
Here's my take on the challenges. I used all my school stash I could find on my layout. I wished I could add more!! :P Had so much fun doing this layout..

I added school themed PPs to the Magistical Memories Over the Rainbow Book chipboard. So what does f.t.o.d. stand for? It stands for favourite time of day! :P

I used lots of journaling stickers and placed them rather randomly over the PPs. I also added the cut-out words 'school days' from the bottom strip on the PPs as embellishments.

I also combined it with the Groovie Covers Challenge for September... The challenge is to use this cover as inspiration to create a layout.

My 2 favourite American Crafts product has got to be the Flair adhesive badges and PPs! So i used these 2 on my layout...

Using the Blue Skies range of adhesive badges.. I'm so happy to get my hands on them.. they are so cute! :P

Wrote words on the badge to form part of my title... I love how versatile they are.

Also added some doodling and journaling following the swirl...

Here's the Groovie Challenge by Maya. The challenge is to create a layout about 'Celebration'. We are to include the following in our layout:
-Colour theme: Red, White & Black
-Multiple photos
-Stickers
-At least a handmade embellishment by yourself
-Scalloped paper

I combined it with the American Crafts Sewing Week Challenge .

I also combined this challenge with MWL Aida's Scrap by Numbers Challenge. The challenge is to scrap a layout with the following:
- Title must be a number or a date.
- Keep within 15 to 20 points limit.
How the points are calculated :
- Each item used on the layout is ONE point be it cardstock, paper, an embellie, a flower, a brad etc.
- Paper - any 1 pattern paper is considered 1 point. Every single flower or cut-out from the pattern paper and used on the layout is 1 point, 3 flowers cut-outs is 3 points.
- Stamp - when you use a stamped sentiment, if you cut it up, each piece you USE on the layout is 1 point. A stamped image that is used intact is 1 point.
- Mist or paint - Each colour you use is 1 point. Use the mist or paint anywhere in the LO. This is the only exception where you can use it as many times as you like on the LO.

Here's my take on the challenge... I did some tearing to the PP and inked the edges...
Added some mist and ink onto the Magistical Memories Snap 2 It Frame chipboard...
Decided to mist the cardstock to create texture...
