sweet memories

Here's what I did as a gift to my uncle and auntie who's celebrating their wedding anniversary and for the following Challenges:
HappyScraps Technique Inspired Challenge 6: Do some pleating on your layout.
Ed's Sketch - August: To use sketch and Calendar stamps on layout.

It so happened that for this month, {Create}'s challenge is to use lace doileys on our layout. So i submitted my layout for the challenge! =P

Did some major misting and masking on the doiley and the leather paper, but the pattern can't really be seen after adding the photo and embellishment. hehe!

I added a cut-out from the calendar and circled the date the photo was taken. The thickers were layered to create the title.

Did some pleating using masking tape...

This layout is going as a gift in a shadow box! =) Hope they'll love it!
