Theme: Birthday Party

Here's a range of projects and layout i did for my take on Project Scrap-Away's final challenge... I used the same range of stash for the layout and projects... There's a layout as a birthday gift to the birthday girl, an invite to the birthday party, a party cup that can be used to hold the sweets and chocolates for each of the guests, an alpha and a picture frame with a photo taken at the party for the guests to take home... I absolutely love the colours! :)Now for the individual pieces... For the layout, i combined it with the UYSC by Wati K for this month. The challenge is to use 2 PPs, 2 buttons, 2 chipboards, 2 flowers, 2 brads and 2 ribbons... So here's what i came up with... This layout is done on the back of the Groovie Kids layout...
I added rub-on to the ribbon and applied matt accent on it... The chipboard flower was dabbered with 2 different colours then inked... i added doodles to outline it...
The same was done for the larger flower, i added blings to this one... I doodled on the flower cut-out and tags...
For this invite, I used glossy accent to highlight the different elements on the card and add dimension... Love the effect on the flower!
Just wanna highlight that for the chipboard alphas, i used alpha rub-ons on them to add colour and pattern...
Added more rub-ons to form a border on the back of the card... More glossy accent! :P
As for the party cup, I embellished the cup which used to contain cookies with PPs... A ribbon was staplered and attached to the bottom part. I added a tag for the name of the guest and stickled everywhere!!:)
Added a leaf die-cut and doodling with stickles to the cover...
I also layered some stickers on gel ones and popped them up from the PP...

The alpha was kept simple, with sanded edges... added some sticker sentiments and flowers.. Stickles was then added to the flowers for more colours and texture...
I love the texture created on the frame! i added 2 colours onto the frame, then inked it! the texture came accidental, actually i just wanted to ink the edges. but i think it looks better like this, the wood grains become more apparent. I also added photo corners to the photo before placing it in the frame. The flowers here were also stickled and outlined to make them stand out...
Hope you like these 5 items i've created... i had fun! :)
