Here's what i did for Project Scrap-Away Challenge 7. The challenge was to to create a LO on some tragedy or ugly event that has happened in your life.
For this challenge, I chose red as the main colour for the layout, to show our love for each other. Different techniques are used to create a messy and distressed look. This is to represent the frustration i have inside. Techniques used include crumpling, tearing and inking. Heating of matte accent is used to form the border of the PP, with stickles added after that.
Several colours of glimmer mist is sprayed to the crumpled PP to add shimmer. Matte accent is added to the crumpled PP to form the title. It is then heated till it bubbles to create an uneven texture. To make the words stand out, i used my marker to go over the matte accent.
Layers of glimmer mist is sprayed on the flower and robot chipboards, stickles is then added. Hammering was done to the brad and robot chipboards to distress them further. The photo can be rotated to reveal the journaling behind the photo. The PP is painted white to further add to the messy look. The journaling is done in a letter form to let adib know how i feel about what is happening.
I'm happy that after i did this layout, everything is alright now.. at least it seems to be alright now.. :)

This is definitely a different side of you Felicia. Love this layout as you have used so many techniques.
Angry red - I hope that things have all settled by now.
