fresh lettuces for sale!

Completed this layout for Merdrey's "al naturale - NOT!" challenge, a challenge where you make raw items un-raw...

Challenge: Use at least 5 chipboard die-cuts (except alphas) and alter them (each differently) for your 12 x 12 layout.

So... here's what i came up with... I wanted to emphasize the green of the lettuces so i used everything green! :P

The title is made up of the various green thickers i have! Decided to embellish the chipboard letter with a thicker glitter and inking..
As for the chipboard swirls, i painted on all of them..

Going clockwise, i used 1) flowers and brads, 2) used acrylic dabber on it, 3) buttons, 4) crackle paint, 5) threads around the swirl and glittered it..
As for the chipboard arrow, i used the eyelets, snaps and beads i have to embellish it.. i thought, since i have so many eyelets and snaps and i hardly use them, why not use them now? :) i love how the arrow turned out.. The chipboard scroll frame is painted and i dabbed paint on it too..
I had fun with this layout... don't you love the fresh lettuces too? the trip to the aeroponics farm was required as i was doing a project about it.. so i needed to see how it works.. glad i had a chance to go down to see it.. :)
