Here's what i did for SK Challenge 5 by Issa... The challenge is to make a 12x12 masculine page. The twist is that we have to include a few flourishes yet not lose that masculine feel. I have no idea how to create a masculine page, i just do what i like... so i decided to create a brown and distressed page for this challenge...
I used a 12x12 embossed chipboard for this layout... I inked, added sand, glimmer mist it... i also added swirls and flowers which are dabbed with alcohol ink...
Then i added glossy accent and heat it to make the embossed parts more prominent... stickles was then added to further highlight the swirls... The word adib are thickers which i inked and adhered to acrylic pieces...
Hope the page has a masculine feel! :P
