Here's what i did for Artz de Scrap's September tutorial... The tutorial is to use CDs to form album pages... What an interesting idea... I did up my pages with gesso, paint and fibers to create textures on the background.. Then i decided that this album shall be on food! :)
I reused some birthday photos which i printed where some of the photos were imperfect when printed.. I'm glad i kept the photos, i knew i'll get to use it one fine day..
Here's the cover.. I added gesso everywhere and used it to hold the fibers down.. Love the colours, it was fun adding the fibers! :PI reused some birthday photos which i printed where some of the photos were imperfect when printed.. I'm glad i kept the photos, i knew i'll get to use it one fine day..
I wanted to add a title, but i didn't want to cover up the texture created on the cover. so instead of adhering the title to the cover, i tied them together loosely so the fibres can still be seen...
I used mainly 7gs stickers for this album... I made the album colourful to portray how happy we are with the yummy food...
The checkered pattern on the cover page was cut out and used here as borders for the photos...
I added dashed lines on the gesso for the back cover...
I love the textures the fibers create! do try creating an album out of CDs! :)
