Here's my take for Groovie Challenge and Project Scrap-Away Challenge 10... I did some inking and used glimmer mist on the background PP...
Groovie Challenge this month is by Jessie. We have to scrap about our best friends and use PP cutouts on our layout..
Project Scrap-Away Challenge 10 is about scrapping something cultural...
Thickers which i outlined... i wanted to portray 2 ideas in this layout... 1 is adib and i always being best of friends... 2 is how although we have different cultures, we still are the best of friends...
I edited the photo before printing.. I added texture to the background and song lyrics of Best of Friends on the photo...
So to portray the culture part... i chose 2 different types of flowers, the red representing Chinese and the green representing Malay... and how the two flowers can exist and grow together... i added some glimmer mist to the flowers and outlined with my white pen...
The photo can be taken out to reveal the journaling on the back of it.. Silly me stuck the PP the wrong way, so i ripped it out and left some peeled marks on the PP... So i decided to let it peel more to complete the look.. hehe...
