my 70s disco ball...

Did this for Project Scrap-Away Challenge 3. The challenge is to do something with the 70s as the theme.. it can be anything! i had to rack my brain real hard to come up with something... this project is one where i spent lots of time on, and it evolved while i was doing it.. i didn't know it'll turned out like that.. but i love the patterns and colours..
The disco ball is made up of wooden and metal rings which are tied together with ribbons and embellished with ribbons and tape. I used lots of PPs, ribbons and doodling... I dug out all my stash that i felt i could use for the 70s theme. The centre is made up of 2 cds which i stuck back to back...
Added more doodling to the PPs and thickers to bring out the feel of the 70s...

This is the back of the disco ball... I used lots of flowers, ribbons and buttons on this side. I added my journaling on the cd. The journaling reads "this is what i love about the 70s - the colours, the patterns, the disco ball. my re-interpretation of the disco ball." I applied crackle accent on the cd, but apparently it didn't crack much.. :P
This flower is made up of ribbons and buttons.. I love how this turned out... As for the curled ribbons at the bottom, i sandwiched a wire between 2 ribbons and glued them together.. That explains why the ribbon can stay in that shape...

I didn't win, but... i think i did GREAT! :)
